Welcome to the new St Stephens website.. .Welcome to the St Stephens website. Hopefully you will find it a help and it will tell you all about us and what we stand for. We are one of four Community Primary Schools in Saltash. We have ten classes and currently 290 pupils on role. High on our list of priorities are pupils rights and responsibilities and much work has been done over the years to develop these areas. School Councils, Court Prefects, Peer Mediators and a variety of monitors/helpers have long been established. In addition we value highly the role of team work and much encourgement is given to our pupils in the form of team competition etc. Sport is also high on the agenda and the School has enjoyed outstanding success in a whole range of sporting activities in recent years. We also value highly the role of Art/Drama and Music and have been working hard to build up opportunities for a more creative curriculum. It is currently part of our policy to ensure each class, each term has at least one enrichment visit or visitor. Academically the school has done well with SAT results at KS2 being consistently above the National average for a number of years.
